West Coast Enduro open 2010 season @ Shasta Raceway Park Race Report 2/10/10 19 Ken Winland dedicated enduro riders braved the rain at the beginning of the season, a chance to win $ 1000 for part of 200lap Enduro 2 / 6 / 10 have. Runners from near and far, and containing some dirt around cars, a large truck full size 7 West Coast Enduro regulars. The usual period of soap and water was prepared by Mother Nature, as a steady stream of rain all the precautions of the day. After some practiceTours and transponder check box went green for the first 100 laps with Jay Cookson up. Second place starter Ken Winland took the lead and kept it until about half way between the first 100 laps, made like an Enduro Champion David Pope questioned and eventually took over the tip. Both Winland and Pabst were lap lead going into the break time and a half. Second half restart saw Winland and Pabst took the fight to work more than Pabst finally in control, until the unfortunatesuddenly took on a stubborn car that seemed to take the Pabst rear tire. Pit crew Pabst sent to keep replacing the tires Pabst only 3 laps behind the leader. Winland more challenging to navigate the damp track that extend a chicane in the back was built and added still leading on lap 160 Pabst, when on a mission, a layered multiple times. Unfortunately, the battle is to determine if the Pope could not be won by an event 3 laps, plowed into a Winland...
